Week 16: Improving User Interaction: Changes to Our Questionnaire Design

Updated: May 24

This week was really powerful!

Our primary focus was on implementing the feedback we received last week to enhance our initial questionnaire, making it much simpler and more user-friendly. This involved streamlining the questions and incorporating intuitive design elements to improve the user experience, as Hezi suggested.

After making these changes, we were thrilled to see them in action and conducted some user testing. These tests were very helpful, revealing some interesting insights. For example, users helped us understand that we need to make the initial questionnaire appear less “busy.” Additionally, to create a smoother process, we need to eliminate the “next” buttons and automatically move on to the next question once the user has finished answering.

We also decided on the color scheme for our app, opting for purple. Research indicates that purple is a soothing and comforting color, making it a perfect fit for our application's aesthetic and purpose. This decision was part of our broader effort to ensure every aspect of our design resonates with our users' needs.

In addition, we began discussing potential designs for our logo. This creative process involved exploring various options and playing with different ideas to find a logo that accurately represents our app.

As part of our efforts to create a promotional film for Mirra, we focused on conceptualizing what the viewers will see and hear, ensuring that the visual and auditory elements work harmoniously to convey our message effectively. This involved detailed planning and collaboration to align our vision and objectives.

Throughout the week, we felt like our app really started to become real, rather than just an idea. We are thrilled to see what next week will bring.
